Life as a young athlete can be exhilarating but also incredibly challenging. Between the pressures to perform, the constant bustle from social media, and those external expectations from peers, family, coaches, and teachers, it’s no wonder our youth are feeling overwhelmed. That’s why we're so excited to launch “In the Zone” – a dedicated blog on PlayOff focused on mental health and wellness, especially for young athletes and students.


Did you know that nearly one-third of U.S. teens have an anxiety disorder? That’s according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). These numbers are staggering and highlight the urgent need for support. The world for our teens can seem intense, but together, we can help them navigate and thrive.


Our blog is packed with practical tips and empowering content like yoga and meditation videos, breathing exercises, and strategies like MEDS (Move, Exhale, Drink Water, Squat) for tackling anxiety. We’ll also explore the Three C's: Staying Curious, Calm, and Connected to the moment. These aren't just trendy buzzwords; they’re powerful tools that can make a real difference in mental wellness.
